10

Wow  Hard to believe that it has already been another month. I'm really having a blast here in Fayetteville it's an awesome place.
This week has been pretty great. I'd have to say that the highlight of the week was Thursday. We had a good exchange set up and a bunch of people we were planning on seeing. But before noon everything had canceled. We were a bit down but we decided that we needed to go out and do something at least. We ended the day with 9 total lessons and got a new investigator named Tim. And last night we set a baptismal date with him for September 3rd. Really excited for him! Our recent convert Alyssa has been awesome with him, helping out at lessons and inviting him to activities. It is great to see ward members involved in the missionary work, and enjoying it.
Food this week was pretty slim, we had 2 dinners set up so we did a lot of unintentional fasting. But we made it work. On Saturday we went to Slim Chickens with a member from Angola. He is pretty cool, but the best part was that I got chicken and waffles. It was way good. On the plus side we have a dinner for every day this coming week.
In President Loveland's email this week he talked about President Uchtdorf's analogy of an eagle learning to fly where he said, " the thrill of soaring begins with the fear of falling." I think that in order to soar and have success we have to be willing to put ourselves in new and uncomfortable situations. When we stretch ourselves we have the opportunity to experience things that we never have before.
Well I hope you all have a great week.
