Procrastinate=Ugly date. An old Indian Proverb

Happy Monday everyone.  We have had a really good week here in Monett, been super busy this week. and this coming week will be even more packed.
We spent a lot of our time this week getting to know a lot of the members and all of our investigators. We had a couple of service hours this week. We played poker in an old people home for a while and then on Saturday when it was 80* outside (it is supposed to still be winter)  we helped a Potential investigator and a Recent convert dig some trenches and then plant raspberry bushes.  We had lunch with the investigator and he was kind of Amish but he brought a friend that just really wanted to bash so that was lame.  We have also done quite a bit of tracting, just around appointments that fall through. Surprisingly enough everyone here is very nice, they will talk to us for 5-10 minutes even if they aren't interested. It's kind of nice.
thursday we had Zone Conference and we had a really good meeting there. Afterwards we went to  a meeting with the Stake Pres and the missionary council.
The members here are all just so strong and friendly, its refreshing to not have to do all the work myself for a change and be more of just the cheer leader for the members ;)
Right now the main people we are working with:
The McWilliams family: Our Elder Quorum President invited him to church and has been investigating for several weeks now and the family of 7 has been coming to church every week. Not only that they bring their friends as well.  So far we have only taught the father and not the family. He seems to be really searching everything out and is progressing well. They ward loves them and they already seem like they are members
Josh and Sherri, Devin, Kaylen, Draysen:
They were tracted into and are a really promising family. When we come over the Josh (step dad) gets all the kids together and has them sit down so we can read the Book of Mormon. Devin is probably the best reader and love reading the book of Mormon he carries that and his bible around with him where ever he goes. Super cool!
Welman: used to be an investigator. But Yesterday a member showed us an article in the newspaper that he had had a house fire... And then was arrested and sent to prison for child molestation...   so yea. ..we aren't seeing him anymore
Melissa:  She is 18 and is staying here with her aunt and uncle (members) and really likes the church.   She's doing awesome
We also do a lot of work with the youth here.  There are a lot of them and they are all pretty cool.
Another neat thing about Monett.  The big family here is the Leavitts. Dad Leavit has 15 kids and a 32 year spread   2 of his sons live here and are the Stake President and Bishop, one daughter is married to the EQP and then he has 2 sons and a daughter that are still in young men's and primary
They all live on the family farm in a few houses,  Known to the locals as Farmville. It is basically Zion. It's pretty cool.
Anyway-have a great single awareness day tomorrow!
